Chef/Patron Michael Wilson has made his mark on the Singapore culinary scene, joining forces with renowned hospitality group Unlisted Collection to develop and run Michelin star Marguerite and Mediterranean restaurant Hortus in the iconic Gardens by the Bay Flower Dome.
Born in Melbourne, Michael worked with the legendary Andrew McConnell at the acclaimed Cutler & Co and industry veteran, Guy Grossi before moving to Shanghai where he earned his first Michelin Star, 5 months after opening Phénix in the Puli Hotel and Spa. In similar timely fashion, Marguerite was awarded its first Michelin Star in July 2022, 8 months after it launched and has retained its star every year since. The restaurant clinched the coveted ‘Outstanding Dining Experience’ accolade at the Singapore Tourism Awards 2024.
